“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how” Friedrich Nietzsche
My work is a response to change, movement, adaptation, and a connection to nature. I explore human capabilities through art making. Even in dire situations or with limited means, we make and can reconstruct meaning for ourselves.
Inherently nomadic and exploratory, my work is a celebration of human intuitive inventiveness, individual expression, and freedom.
I am interested the intersections of art, craft, and nature and explore the fragmentary nature of contemporary art and how it can lend to multiple means of constructing and understanding one's environment. We create and invent systems of order and necessity for ourselves as we move through the world. These are the human actions I draw from, and choose to celebrate.
