Jenny Saville
Thanks for reading! In my blog I would like to share with my readers the things I am looking at, artists I find inspirational or interesting, and shows that I've been to or would like to go to.
Currently, I'm working on a project that deals with identity--I wanted to share one of the artists that have been suggested to me to look at. The artist that really hit home to me was Jenny Saville. Her large scale gutsy paintings are about the female identity and body image that are often difficult to look at. I admire her conceptual ideas and approach in painting.
